Tired and Sore But Proud Of Myself

Ironman Locking Sit Up Inversion Table - OrangeI went to see John Salgado again this morning [three days in a row!!!] and did circuit training with another of his clients. We had rounds of dips, Bosu Ball push ups, pad work, and medicine ball crunches. One of the circuit training stations was using wooden gymnastic rings for pull ups, very much like Frank uses the TRX straps. I think that I’m showing some improvement but overall all I could think about was that I was tired. LOL

I did a cool down on the small trampoline, trying to loosen some of the tightness in my joints.  Additionally, I got to try something new today: an inversion table!  It was fun although I only stayed in it for a few minutes.

I think your website is great! Just checked it out and found it very interesting and informative. I really got a “kick” out of the demo regarding how to front kicks and double tap kicks and round houses.
Here was my exercise seclude for the last 2 wks.
Sunday, Sept 2
Went to Kuk Sul Won for a private 1hr. lesson. First 15-20 excursive in breathing and stretching.. He showed 4 different techniques on how to defend yourself if you are grabbed by your jacket or blouse by an attacker using one hand.
Monday, Sept 3
Went to KukSulWon for group lesson. Stayed about 1 1/2 hours. Went over several forms with Sr.
Tuesday, Sept 4
Went to group lessons for dance class. Was taught basic Cha Cha steps and (lock steps routine). Stayed for a second class that went over West Coast Swing. (2hrs total)
Wednesday, Sept. 5
Went to KukSulWon for group class. Learned how to do wrist locking techniques with Sr. Stayed 1 1/2 hrs.
Thursday, Sept 6
Went to dance class for a private lesson. Went over foxtrot and cha cha and west coast swing. 50 mins.
Friday, Sept. 7
Went to KuKSulWon for private lesson. Went over forms and did cardio and bong form (staff form) 1 1/2 hrs.
Sunday, Sept 9
Went to KukSulWon for private lesson. Went over bong form and several techniques. 1 hr.
Monday, Sept 10
Went to group class. 15 minute stretching and breathing exercise. Went over bong form and Sr. went over my forms with me. 1 hr.
Wednesday, Sept 12
Went to KukSulWon for group class. Spent 10-20 minutes stretching and cardio excursive (front kicks, round house kicks, punching in a combination with kicks). Broke out into groups and worked out with a blue belt in cloth wrist locking techniques Forms 1-4 (cloth wrist lock form is when an attacker grabs your long sleeve jacket or shirt by the wrist area). Over used my left arm/shoulder and was in pain by the end of class.
No private or group class until the following week.
Friday, Sept.14
Nathaniel and I walked Charlie for about 45-50 minutes. 2 1/2 miles.
Monday, Sept. 17
Went to group class. Stretched and did some cardio, tried to do some forms but left arm was still not up to par so sat out after 25 min.
Tuesday, Sept 18
Walked Charlie for 50 minutes. About 2 1/2 miles.
Wednesday Sept 19
Went to KukSulWon group class. Still not 100% only stayed in class for 30 min. before sitting out.
Thursday, Sept 20
Went to dance class for private lesson. Went over Waltz, Tango and Bachata. Stayed for group class and went over Cha-Cha. approx. 2 hrs. total.
Well that’s all for now. Will probably go to Dance party tomorrow since I will not be having Friday KukSulWon class anymore. Teacher wants to switch it to every other Friday or Saturday instead. Will try to walk Charlie in the morning.
